The app for Samsung tv hasn’t changed for a long time and after activating live tv and recording, I don’t have them in my menu. Does Samsung tizen os tv supports live tv? Is fine obviously in my tablet or the web

Plex developers rarely (if ever) post release dates for future support for features or clients. So, no.

Having bought a Samsung TV recently I was rather disappointed to find out that this functionality wasn’t available. Seems I’m going to have dig out my old Fire TV and plug it back in again. So much for ‘cutting the cord’… Well fingers crossed this is high up on the developers list

If you’re not paying for cable tv then you’ve “cut the cord”. How you manage to do that depends on the technology/devices you have available to you. Using a Fire TV certainly doesn’t negate it…
