Watch state is no longer synced for downloaded content

Since a few days, or possibly since the last update, downloaded content watched on my mobile phone no longer syncs with the server/other players. It worked pretty flawlessly until recently, but not anymore.

So I go to Downloads - Libraries - TV Shows - the TV Show and then I play some content. When I stop playing, and go back to the home screen, it previously updated that last episode on the Continue Watching list. If I then turn to my TV, I could continue watching the same content where I left off.

But since a few days, this sync no longer works. The server just doesn’t know what I watched on my mobile, and I have to manually mark episodes as watched, or find the place where I stopped watching.

How to get the sync to work again?

You’re not. The issue is on iOS as well, but no one seems to respond to it.
