Watching in-progress live stream being recorded from HDHomerun

I just purchased and installed a Fire TV 4K stick and got my Plex client configured. I also have Plex running on Roku on a different tv.

I have the Plex live tv/dvr set up to record the Today show for my wife. On Roku when viewing the show using the live tv function it asks if I want to watch live or start from the beginning, since the recording is in progress.

On the Fire TV, Plex only seems to allow live viewing, even though the show is being recorded. There is no option to view from the start of the show. Am I missing a setting or is this just the way Plex behaves on the Fire TV environment?

It seems like a bug from what you described, I’ve messaged the Android team about it.

Thanks @jzolezzi I bought this Fire TV stick due to the problems I’m having with the Roku Premier and now this bug is defeating the purpose! Anyway, is there a board here that will announce new releases for the Fire TV OS?

Fyi I just updated the Fire TV firmware and now the option to ‘view from beginning’ does show up and works fine. False alarm!
