When watching Live TV either from on my internal network or while on the road using a web browser I have found after a period of time the Live TV stops responding. When you close the web page and reopen it the server is no longer available (Offline).
When looking at the server PC all the services are still running but the server is offline when trying to access it by web page or apps on other devices. Looking at the Running processes all the process for Plex are still running. Closing the Plex app does not close all of the processes running so you manually have to go into task manager and kill the processes. Once all are stopped you can start plex normally and it will work again. But if you try Live TV again it will work for a period of time then cause the same issue.
Plex runs perfectly fine for everything else except for when using Live TV.
I am currently running the latest Plex version 1.11.0.4666.
I have the Hauppauge win TV Quad HD tuner card installed. Driver verson 1.59.35167.0. Driver listed on the manufactures page is older than the one that came with the card/WinTV 8.5 software.
This is one of the recommended tuners for using with Plex.
OS is Windows 10 Pro 1709 Version 16299.192
Any one else having the same issue’s or have suggestions on a fix. or is this something that I will have to wait for a Plex update to fix.
