WD My cloud home keeps being unavailable after 3 consecutive months working normally

My WD Cloud Home Plex working perfectly since I bought it. Recently however it keeps being unavailable if I copied files into TV shows folder and watch them on my Apple TV. If I only stored music files then no problem occurs. I tried many things as followed but the problem still occurred:

  1. Disable and enable the Plex
  2. Delete the current Plex and re-install it
  3. Alternate set static IP & DHCP
    Notice that if I only keep music then It can work normally. If I copied file into TV Shows and watch them on Apple TV then around 2 or 3 episodes the Plex will be unavailable.
    It is so annoying. Please advice

I have the same issue, My WD cloud was not available for a long time on PLEX. I check the configuratio but it’s so complicated to understand and I really have no time to learn. I’m not an engineer !
Then somehow there were couple update and everything when fine. The LAST update of My cloud destroyed everything and now impossible to even see the My cloud serveur on PLEX. I’m just fed up…

Well, it seems Plex does not give us any support and i am still struggling to remove & reinstall everyday

Well I was lucky, somehow I check the apps on WD and I discovered that Plex was switched off. Probably automatically after the last update. So now it’s working for me. Hope it will remain. Good luck
