We have a new set of channels/stations in our area and I can't select them to show up in the channel

The tuner sees the new channels and Plex sees the new channels, but there isn’t an EPG channel to select so I never see the channel in the lineup of channels to watch. I don’t care if I don’t have a guide lineup for the channel, but I would like to be able to watch the channel through Plex, but it never adds them to be able to select those new channels to watch. Is there a way to get them to show up, or do I have to wait until either a) you make it so that I can add the channel without an EPG channel to select, or b) you have an EPG channel to select?

Currently the channel(s) need to be in the Gracenote EPG to show up and to be able to watch - it would definitely be nice if there were an option to watch and/or record by time without the EPG.
