Within the last week or so, the option for playing back “original quality” seems to have disappeared from the web app but is still an option in my iOS app. Is there a way to get this back? My server is running on a raspberry pi so pretty much any conversion is unusable
If playing using web from a server on your LAN, check the server host filewall settings.
and, if this is remote (Remote Access) check that its Remote Access is showing accessible (Green indicator)
What you’re seeing here , ( The 2 Mbps limit ) is when a direct connection can’t be made.
Indirect connection playback is limited to 2 Mbps (as you show). The player (Plex/web) will reflect this.
Consider this on my LAN (workstation → PMS server) where I have all the internal firewalls (Ubuntu) disabled.
That was it, thanks! Remote access had been “green” previously but checking today it was not. I rebooted my router and toggled UPNP and it went green again.
