Weirdness here when scanning new music files

Hello, I am having recent issues with one music folder that keeps getting the Plex library file tag information wiped out when I activate a “scan music files” All music files show “untitled” however, I can play the file. The album art that I assigned to the file is there but no titling information. I have rebuilt this one folder from scratch twice and have spent much time manually inputting all the track name/artist info back in. I have deleted this folder from my library, rescanned and then added it back from backup and rescanned. It still shows all tracks as “untitled” which is definitely not desired behavior.

It seems to only affect this one folder and all other folders have all their correct file information being displayed.

I like to add tracks to this one folder randomly and then I “rescan” it to add it to the Plex library. This is when it will erase all the Plex tag information for files in this folder…

Any help would be appreciated on this matter.

Just to demonstrate what I am talking about when I scan my music files, I added two new music files to the one folder and have included before scan and after scan screen shots.

As you see some of the track titling info has been wiped clean and I always have to manually input this track info back in. What a PAIN especially if you have a folder with allot of files.

Anyone have any ideas on this? Definitely weird behaviour.
