I have another issue with this new app (Plex Photo). I normally will add my art work in a combination of images and videos. I create a story that includes these all. Sometimes, the images and videos are presented separately, while other times, the images and videos will be combined into a single video. While videos will display when you are holding you iPhone vertical, the app will NOT allow me to turn the device into a horizontal position to best display the video fuller. They immediately return to their vertical position. This is unacceptable. This needs to be fixed. My images and videos MUST stay together in one app or they will NOT provide me with the ability to share them conveniently to others.

……and the direction they are heading in seems dark and gloomy for us who believed in the project from when it was first forked…..To be the Best Media Manager..

If you ever want to know what plex’s plan is now and how the days of caring about us with private media servers is iwell and truly over, just google a movie that they have in their ad-supported service, check how it’s displayed and compared in google as a “free service” (as opposed to paid streamers like netflix), which then takes you directly to plex/web and plays the movie seamlessly. All without having to do anything and they get revenue. Then once you are done the web/ui has all of our reviews and links across to more movies to watch within their ad supported service.
Time to move on people if that’s not what you signed up for…
