If you go through with the conversion, keep in mind that it will only be complete after Refresh Metadata has been performed for each item.
You need to do this, at the very least before either moving the media files to a different storage location or swapping them for improved quality.
Also before adding additional versions (e.g. SD, FullHD, and 4K UHD) or adding local Extras.
