Are there plans to fix the player controls to put them back at the bottom of the screen, and bring back the normal controls? Like, skip, etc? How are we supposed to skip to the next episode? There doesn’t seem to be a button for it anymore.
And no episode/movie info?? That’s one of the best parts especially when watching an old show and you want to quickly know which episode you’re on.

I’d like to use the new app on my devices, but not until basic feature parity exists like this. Kinda bummed these things that made Plex the best player still have yet to make it to the new app. I can’t upgrade until it has these basic things put back. Please fix. Thanks.

In terms of the missing episode/movie info, what specifically are you referring to? The info is displayed in the top left corner (Episode title, Show info, duration)
Thanks for passing it along! Really need those skip buttons. Also, not obscuring the image with buttons would be better too. At the bottom was perfect before.
Ya know, I actually missed the info up there with how small the font was. I don’t mind it there at all as long as I can see it. But it’d be nice to include the release year per episode or film. I do a lot of research for film & TV stuff professionally, and believe it or not, I’ll often look there to find that info quickly in we’re viewing something.
To clarify further, when I’m watching something, I’ll often just tap up on the remote to get a quick glimpse of the info without obscuring anyone’s view. Having controls pop up in the middle of the screen it really disruptive and honestly, from a design standpoint, not very elegant (in my opinion).
Hope they can go back to a cleaner look for this with the new UI.
