What is plex recording?

So, ever since using the live tv feature, the server status page seems to think that the DVR is “recording” all the time.

but according to my HDHR its doing nothing

Anyone else experiencing the same? the “1 recording now” goes away if i restart the server software, but not otherwise. my client is the nvidia shield

Others threads on the forum discussing this same issue. On those threads Plex has asked for logs.
