What kind of Samsung TV do I have?

I have a Samsung J-series TV for which I found a Plex app in its app store. It has some glitches but actually does work to some degree. I saw somewhere that Plex now only supports Tizen based Samsung TVs.
The Plex app describes my TV as UN50JU6400 from 2015, even though its backplate says UN50JU6500.
I can’t find either model number on Samsung’s list Smart TV - Build | Samsung Developers
But it seems to fall into the bucket of first-gen Tizen devices (Tizen 2.3) ?

So does this mean the new Plex app is only available starting with second gen Tizen devices (v2.4) and later and this TV is basically unsupported?
Really just asking out of curiosity, I’m sure I’ll be better off just plugging in a Fire TV stick or something similar…

From what I can find, the new Plex client for Tizen based smart TV models will only work on UHD models from 2016 onwards (requires Tizen 2.4).

In that case you’ll probably get the best experience by using some streaming box. This will make you less dependent on a particular tv-model.
