What specifically causes the ‘Unable to Upload subtitle file’ Message when you are trying to upload a valid LocaL .SRT file?
I’D LIKE TO KNOW SO (ooops) I can fix the SRT files…
Someone please advise.
sub is local and named
“House - 4x13 - No More Mr. Nice Guy.eng(2008).forced.srt”
Movie is online/Streaming from the web/ in Plex and called:
“House - 4x13 - No More Mr. Nice Guy.m4v”

Does anyone know what’s causing the message?
You can only upload subtitles to your own server.
sorry, mate… Don’t know what that means. I am logged in as the Admin. I am remote from the server - which, of course contains the mkv file.
I have a corrected SRT and try to upload it. It fails ‘Unable…’ etc. - in firefox.
It appears to work in Chrome, however.

The web browser which you were using to post here was logged into a plex account which has no own server. It has only a shared server.
