Whats differences between these two Silicondust HDHomeRun for Live TV?

Hello friends,

I recently buy Plex Pass for lifetime and want to set up the Live TV. I bought a digital antenna and the next step is buying a SiliconDust HDHomeRun. I am a little confused and dont know which one I should get. After searching the market I ended with these following two SiliconDust HDHomeRun devices. I appreciate if anyone can tell me if these work with Plex and if yes, whats the differences between these two:

SiliconDust HDHomeRun CONNECT Duo (HDHR5-2US(CA))

Silicondust HDHomeRun CONNECT, 2 Tuners, 8-VSB (HDHR-4-2US(CA))

The HDHR5-2US(CA) (The first one) is a new gen 5 tuner while the HDHR-4-2US(CA) (The second one) is an older gen 4. If they are priced similar, you should go for the new gen 5 tuner HDHR5-2US(CA).

Yes, I can confirm that. I use Plex Pass Live TV/DVR with the older CONNECT and access all local OTA stations. I have an outdoor antenna set up to receive the channels, so be aware that OTA reception depends on your location and antenna. For example, if you have an indoor antenna, and are not in a good reception position, you may only get a few channels.
