It would be nice, if agent woould obey whole name When there is for example two folders with two series. The War of the Wolds (2019) (miniseries) and War of the Worlds (2019) French two season series. It is kinda of stupid that after adding them (yup rebuilding libaries after restoring data from broken nas raid) it would use the full name in the folder name instead making a “stupid” quest and fusing them together to later two season series so, that first three episodes there has those that should be the miniseries. Yes, they are seperate folders. This just tells that there is no sanity check in agent, it just picks what ever it first finds… if there is second choice for exact name, about a series, which surprisingly have those 3 episodes than entire series has… duh. Yup, do NOT try to make it “too” smart, when it failed often like this (I think this kind of behavior have become a bit more common lately…)

Suggest naming it’s show folder as:
War Of The Worlds (2019) {tmdb-86374}

yeah the matching agent will never be that strict, otherwise nothing will get matched. As Dane suggested using either the tvdb or tmdb id in the folder name will address your concern and have plex properly match your data.
