Hello, there.

my wish would be to improve the operation between the users.
i love your function regarding different users. i have a family and think it’s great that you can give user permissions for folders or age.

but i think the handling is bad

i have a tv with android-tv and apple-tv. if you log in to the app you automatically log in with the last user.
my wish would be for a new user to have a window with “which user would you like to join?”.

idea: setting possibility at the client

  • a newcomer should get a user choice (the big family tv)
  • insert automatically with the last user (if always only the same user dials)

I have two Shield TV’s and two Fire TV devices. All of them when accessing the Plex app you are presented with the user selection screen.

Disable the client preference ‘Automatic Logon’.

In the web app it is called ‘Automatically Sign In’ instead

Yes, my mistake is correct.

i am confused by the automatic loggin. for me this name does not make sense that you will then come to the user selection.

maybe you should rename it
