I’m having trouble running my Windows 10 laptop against the TV via Google Chromcast connected via a WiFi router from Swedish Comhem (Compal CH7486e)
When Im running Plex Media Server, I version 1.5.6.3790, when I try to run Plex from my computer, I get the error “no player found” …
When I try to cast from Chrome (now built-in so no extension is required), I get the error “No Cast Destination Found” …
Notable that from my cell phone it works and when you look at the router, you can see that Chrome Cast, the mobile and laptops are included … as well as a WiFi-powered printer.
Runing Windows 10 Home Insider Preview 10.0.16199 Build 16199. In the case of virus programs, I run Windows Defender…Chrome and I run version 69.0.3071.86 (64 bit).
Notable when I run Plex from my mobile, the connection works so that it retrieves movies I have on the laptops that are then cast to the TV … it also works to drive cast via mobile from eg Svt.play …
Have tested with connecting towrds the router with network cable … no difference … reinstalled Chrome and Chrome Cast…Checked my firewalls, mm, mm …
Any idea how this could be solved ??
