I am a lifetime plex pass subscriber. I have a Samsung Galaxy s7 edge and a Galaxy Tab4. I’ve got synced music on the s7 edge, but I was trying to sync it to the Tab4. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Plex on the Tab4. I made sure the name of the Tab4 is correct on the list of devices from the Computer Plex app. I made sure the music is being synced to the external storage.
However, it never gets past the “waiting to be converted” status on any of my devices other than the Galaxy s7 edge. I’ve never been able to sync anything to my Tab4.
I’ve queued a playlist to sync but under status, for all the music, it all says “waiting to optimize”. When I go to the optimize activity, they are all “waiting”. I’ve done that before and all they ever do it “wait”, I’ve never been able to sync even 1 song to the Tab4.
Am I doing something wrong?
I’m having the same issue on Galaxy Note 3. Can’t sync movies, music or even photos - all “Waiting to be converted”. Syncing was the only reason I purchased Plex Pass.
In those cases I now just reboot whichever item I’m using (phone, tablet, etc.) and after rebooting it seems to work again.
