When Time shifting while recording, 30 sec skip goes where it pleases

When I start watching something that has been recording for more than an hour, like The Voice or a NASCAR race, I choose the option to start from the beginning there are 2 problems. First, it will not always go all the way back to the beginning. Other times, it will. Second, when it does start playing and I get to commercials and use the 30 sec skip, it will sometimes go forward, but most times it goes backwards. Usually to the same point every time. I can click on the slider to try and get it back to where I was watching it, but even that is hit or miss. This is easy to see while watching a sporting event due to the fact the current lap, inning, period, etc. they’re on is always displayed. Other long shows, like The Voice do it also, but you really have to be paying attention that it’s replaying something you’ve already seen. If you don’t skip around, it will play from where it started all the way through with no problem. So, this post is to get the skipping feature to work while time shifting a live recording.

I’m on Windows 10 server version 1.13.1.5063 using both the PMP standalone and the Web interface clients on their latest versions. This was also happening on the Roku, but I have not specifically tested the Roku on this version.

Logs are attached where I was trying to time shift The Voice while it was recording on 5/14/2018 after 9pm est. The recording started at 8pm.

P.S. If you’re reading this and are also have the same problem, please reply with your specifics. The more that chime in, the more attention it should get.

BTW, skipping around works fine after the recording has completed. The issue occurs when watching while it’s recording. It does it with MPEG2VIDEO and H264 formatted streams. They are coming from a HDHomerun Prime tuner connected to Xfinity.

Same thing happens with Hauppauge quad-tuner. Multiple reports in various threads that unfortunately haven’t seemed to kick up a fix.
