When will we see the new multi EPG DVR update?

Saw Lon Seidmans video about the upcoming changes but dont see them in my latest Version 1.23.0.4459 so was he using an alpha build? If so when will we see it? I have both DVB-T and DVB-S from different countries so up to now have had to do the trick of creating the DVR in two different tabs to get it to work.

yeah, when?

Soooon

Is there a beta floating around for testing yet?

Not yet, I’m afraid

I am excited about this update! I’ve been using Channels DVR for this reason and would love to unify everything back under Plex when this gets implemented. Really hoping that the EPGs for different channel lineups can do different locations. Those of us with ties to other languages and countries desperately need this!

Can you share a little more about this “two different tabs” trick?

Delete your current DVR and then open the setup page in two different browser tabs. You will be able to create two Live TV & DVR with two different EPGs

Thanks! Got it all set up.

So the new multi source/EPG update will allow for us to have all line-ups in one Live TV & DVR tab, correct?

Yes, that’s correct

will it allow us to add channels with no epg data? This would be a nice feature as I have channels with no epg info but the channels have occasional live content on them. Would be good if we can create a blank epg listing for channels

Some youtubers seem to have it

theres a couple of tech bloggers that have an alpha release as they are sponsored by Plex, Silicon Dust etc

Any eta yet when this will be in beta?

It was released via a web client update a couple of days ago (you must use the hosted web client, at least for now):

  • Added new DVR setup and Live TV settings page with support for multiple lineups, and/or countries, across one or multiple tuners

Nice. I missed that. Thanks
