Where are my photo albums

I actually like the new Plex video app is fine except for the abysmal download experience, although that has been garbage for 8 years now. But if you’re going to force something on us like this at least ensure that the most basic features are still here.

I can excuse the laggy mess of an app but i cannot excuse the most basic feature of photo playlists being AWOL in the new Plex photos app.

Plex has created dedicated apps for the different media types (videos, music and photos).

Here are some feature changes that may affect you:

Personal Media features:

• Music and Photos: We have built dedicated music and photo applications that are companions to the Plex app. Plexamp and Plex Photos are where access to music and photo libraries will live moving forward. As such, music and photos access will no longer be available within the regular Plex application when it gets updated to the new experience. Both companion apps are still in active development and can expect updates soon
