Where are transcoded movies stored?

Hello,

I am transcoding a movie to upload it to the Amazon Cloud services. The original file is 6GB+ which will exceed the space on Amazon. Could anyone tell me, where the transcoded movies are stored, so that I can check the file size when transcoding is done?

I am running Plex on my Synology NAS.

unless you selected for them to be placed somewhere specifically i thought they went into a “Plex Versions” folder or similar in the same folder as the original files

I finally found the location on my NAS:

/volume1/Plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/Transcode/Sync+/7306603/ae/3962.mp4.temp

I have several folders like 7306603, I don’t know if it is per movie. After transcoding has finished, the file gets renamed to *.mp4
