Where do I add HD Home Run Tuner?

I have paid my years subscription and I am running Plex on my QNAP NAS. On my network I have an HD Home Run network tuner.
Within the QNAP App I can not find anywhere to add the tuner device or set any DVR functions.
Thoughts and help would be appreciated.

In your server settings Http://qnapip:32400/web > settings > server do you see the circled option below

No I do not have Live TV & DVR in the menu on the left hand side.

Try signing out and signing back in to your sever. It may not be picking up that you paid for your Plex Pass.

Make sure you are not running an old Plex Media Server version. Current version is 1.11.0.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I’m at work at the moment so not able to access the system.
However I remember mine started something like 0.9…
It is running on a QNAP NAS at home.

So thank you guys so far… are you saying that I need to sign out of the Plex on my NAS when I can next do that?
I don’t see a newer version of the App.

Plex.tv/downloads has the current version.

Though this is probably your issue. Make sure you can see the tuner outside of plex on your network. IE, using the hdhomerun app on another computer and that it works properly.

Hi Mdhwoods1 - yes I can see my HD Home Run box outside all of this in IE and Mediacentre.

Fellow Users - I have tried to download the later version of the QNAP App from the Plex site.
I am running the most up to date operating system on the QNAP 4.3.3.0404 on a TS-121 but NONE of the packages on the Plex site will install.
Is there some kind of minimum spec for the QNAP? I can’t find any info and have paid for my Plex Pass but can’t use it :frowning:

Thats an arm cpu i believe. you need to confirm that they have a version for your cpu that supports live tv. when i goto downloads i see arm v7 x31 which i dont think is what you need.

So I now have the right version of the App loaded onto QNAP.
However…When I go to DVR and then setup for it asks for my Postcode ( ZIP Code ) and then in Pregamme Guide I select Freeview - our free to air service that the HD Home Run box can pick up.
After clicking continue I don’t get anything apart from a spinning circle - no EPG or DVR functions.

Anyone got any thoughts on this or anyone from Plex offering to advise?

What web browser are you using? If IE try using Chrome. Also what postal code are you entering, others have mentioned only entering part of the postal code. Sorry in US, not on Freeview but a search of forum for Freeview might yield some other threads with users that have Freeview.
