Who is correct - The show producer or TMDB?

Specifically Modern Marvels. History channel uploads full episodes to youtube and lists the season and episode number.

https://invidious.protokolla.fi/watch?v=tMaCoIsguO0that is the video, season S10E25 according to history channel.

Wiki agrees https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Modern_Marvels_episodes#Season_10_(2004)

TMDB does not, says its S11E26 https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/6145-modern-marvels/season/11/episode/26

Because someone might have run into the same issue as me. I do not know what is correct, S10E25 or S11E26.

The ultimate truth for both TMDB and TVDB are how the show was aired the first time.
They rarely change their stance on that. Even if the producer says that the episodes were produced in a different order. Even if the first airing was totally messing up the episode ordering (see “Firefly”).
That’s why TVDB has alternate orderings, of which Plex can use a few.

Is there a manual way to change the titles of episodes? I searched…

“Edit” the episode in Plex.

You do not want to just edit the title to match what you feel it should be. Since Plex uses TVDB or TMDB for episode ordering (TMDB by default if you don’t change it), you should conform YOUR media to match either of their numbering systems.
