whats the deal!? my folders are all named correctly per another user saying they had to be, even though this issue never cropped up before despite variations in my naming of individual seasons. I don’t want my shows individual seasons showing on my library. I just want the show and those seasons INSIDE. this is really annoying. had to delete my entire tv library to try and fix this problem.
adage - what gives with calling stuff ‘bosch s4 hd’ ?? its not named that at all on my folder in my laptop so why did it come up named this way in Plex’s own titling?
Issue One:
TVDB is having trouble. It ranges from slow to stopped.
Issue Two:
Most likely anyway.
If these are .mp4/.m4v files, check your agent configuration to see where Local Media Assets is in the stack. If it is above TheTVDB (or The Movie Database), move it down:
I will try these things guys. Thank you. Will report back. With all the poster and metadate problems I’ve probably messed with something mentioned, causing this.
The TVDB thing - all you can do is name and structure your files properly and wait.
Keep refreshing metadata at the show level.
I don’t think there’s much left of that LMA target - it’s been wiped off the map, but I did like this:
You can “thank” your ripper/encoder software for this.

What are you talking about?
It was probably a reference to all three of us suggesting that LMA be moved down.
I agree it’s a reference to local Media assets and the possible amount available, I believe
it worked guys, thank you! still have no posters for any of my shows, but that’s something we’re all screwed with atm. cheers.
…lost in translation… a shame too - it was a good one…lol
Yeah, I am getting all sorts of crazy stuff happening to my library. I just added one episode to RuPaul’s Drag Race from yesterday and it broke all the seasons.

At least I know I am not the only one with this problem. I thought I had fixed it with another show. Yesterday or the day before, I just re-named all the files S01E02.mkv, etc. but it didn’t seem to help this time.
After trying the LMA Hack, it seems to be better, but still REALLY slow to respond.
