I have tried to reset my password using he email I signed up with (MSN/Hotmail) it is an active account. But when I sent email to reset my password, I never get it. Yes I have checked the Junk folder as well. I have gotten random emails from Plex before so I know that part works. Is there another way I can reset my password so I can log in to my account…? I have forgotten my password thus I need it to be changed. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
I just looked into this. I do see several password reset emails being requested. Our email processor does show that we’ve sent password reset emails and they’ve been acknowledged as “Delivered” by your mail server.
If you’re not seeing the emails, please check your trash/spam/promotions/etc. folders (again) to ensure that a reset email didn’t get mis-categorized. The emails are sent from "noreply@plex.tv", so you may wish to whitelist that address or add it to your approved senders list.
I am using Outlook (got merged with my msn I have had for 15 years) I looked in both junk/spam and in hte inbox and I see Nothing at all from anything having to do with plex at all. As far as white listing an email address I don’t know how to do that. Any help would be appreciated in this matter.
I don’t use Outlook myself. A quick Google search gave this article: https://www.extendoffice.com/documents/outlook/1129-outlook-add-safe-senders-list.html
this is not helping me with my situation. MAybe just making another plex account will be the quickest fix. I got an email saying I was using forums from plex to my junk mail but never got any of the ones about a password change. The forum link you posted was not helpful because that is not he version of outlook that I am using not by any means but thanks for what info you were able to provide but at this time its just not worth my time.
Was this ever resolved? I’m having the same issue, and could not even post this without logging in. I had to create a second account to even ask. I want to use my original account if possible, any suggestions?
