Why can't I match this show? It exists on tvdb

I’ve been servicing some chinese shows for the inlaws, but every so often a show just wont match.

Even when the show exists on tvdb, and having tried to manually match with tvdb-####### and it still doesn’t detect.

It was just created on TVDB yesterday. It usually takes about 72 hours to finish ingestion but it can take longer

This still doesn’t seem to exist on watch.plex.tv (and by extension, the server metadata).

I have added the TVDB External Links for the show/season/episodes to the TMDB entry for it now, so maybe that will kick start it.

I set up a test folder. It initially matched to TMDB, Episodes are listed as Episode 1, Episode 2.

I then clicked on the pencil icon, selected Advanced and selected TVDB (aired) for episode ordering. Now they are showing what I think are Chinese characters and they seem to match the letters that are shown on TVDB.

Yeah there’s no English translations of the episode titles at this time. TVDB is showing the Chinese since it lacks any English labels at all, and TMDB has “Episode xx” as dummy titles for now.

Edit: I’m not familiar with this show so possible it has no titles for episodes. But it might be like some J-dramas where the title is essentially the episode synopsis and no one does an English translation because it’s so long.
