I’ve gotten this notification every. single. time I’ve opened Plex on Windows for the last two months. No matter how many times I hit “update” and let it go through the install process, it’ll do it again five minutes later.

Try this:
- close plex player
- go to the configuration folder of the player
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Plex\cache\updatesand empty it out - reboot Windows
