Can anyone explain why i am constantly forced, or at least bothered by updates to the PLEX Player on Windows 10?
I have the launch icon pinned to my taskbar for quick launching but almost every week (or it feels like it) instead of opening the player it runs the installer. Or if it doesn’t it launches and then before i can get into my programs another popup asks if i want to install the update.
I cannot seem to find any way to stop this from happening and its getting more and more annoying when i simply want to come in from work and watch a show. Not have to abort the installer and reopen player, or sit and wait in case a popup is going to ask me to install update just in case i press enter to start a show but the message jumps in and i start installing the update…
