Tuner Make/Model: HDHomeRun Prime (3 tuners)
Guide/Lineup name: Verizon Fios TV
Using XMLTV?: Using EPG generated by Plex
Channel number/Name: All
I recently bought an HDHomeRun Prime for my Fios TV subscription (along with a cable card), hooked it up to Plex, and mapped my channels only to find all but 19 of them unmapped a few hours later.
I tried mapping them again and the same thing happened a few hours later again.
Is there anything specific that might be causing these channels to be unmapped? Everything works great when they’re mapped.
Only 19 channels got disabled? I wonder if there is a broadcast flag that is causing it.
Maybe, try updating the firmware on the Prime. Even though the change log doesn’t show it, the latest software/firmware was updated this past week. Version 20210105
you should do a tutorial on how to get everyone to play nice together. They only way i have been able to dizque to work was install another plex server on an old laptop. My main server has the HDHomerun and the laptop runs Dizque.

Agreed. dizqueTV plays well for me if I install it as the only tuner, but I have massive issues when I route it through xTeVe and then connect that to Plex.
Different user, same (ish?) problem. The only difference is I’m using xTeVe, and every few hours, all of my channels become unmapped, and the guide is completely empty.
Curious why you mentioned xTeVe and what issue you think it could be causing? AFAIK, it doesn’t have a “Notify Plex on channel updates” feature like DizqueTV
xTeve most likely isn’t unmapping the channels. Are you using the dummy schedule in xTeve? I am wondering if your EPG source doesn’t have more than a few hours, but that shouldn’t cause the unmapping. There maybe another device/service on your network that is causing the issue.
I use the combo to get the EPG into one source from xTeve, but have multiple spoof tuners to get the content into plex.
I’m using Channels DVR to connect to my TV Everywhere accounts, which I have linked to xTeVe, which is then hooked to Plex.
I’ve tried having xTeVe set up to use PMS for the guide settings, then in Plex use the xmltv endpoint within Channels DVR. I’ve also tried using the XEPG feature within xTeVe. Both ways, it works fine in Plex until a few hours later, all the channels are gone.
When it is working within Plex, I am getting about 2 weeks worth of guide data (approx. 50000 listings) spread across 130ish channels.
When you link to the xmltv endpoint in the Channels DVR, you can specify how far into the future to include listings, and so I’ve also tried grabbing just 8 hours of data. Even then, the channels disappear within a couple of hours in Plex.
It’s strange, because if I go to the Live TV settings in Plex, it still has all the channels, says that only 2 are enabled, and if I click to manage the channels, none of them are actually enabled. I am able to re-enable them and re-map them to the proper guide channel, and then they show up again in Plex
Honestly, I don’t know what could be causing it. May need to do a remove DVR from PLEX, then in server troubleshooting clean bundles and optimize database before you re-add the DVR.
