Am really fed up with PLEX . I can add mp3 to the server via my laptop so it is on the network but Plex does not find the server anymore - I have changed nothing on the server or laptop , it does not work with Sonos either. It did then was intermittent now its not there.
Am really ****ed off with the whole thing.
Why does Plex not offer help ? Have asked questions via twitter - no replies!!!
having the same problem with Sonos. I cancelled my account as there’s no value in keeping if it doesn’t work.
Same here, since i updated plex to the latest version for my nas (wd mycloud ex4100) plex was having some issues getting new m etadata and matching manually didn’t work either (the agent failed) so I rebooted in an attempt to fix it (solves these kinds of issues most of the time).
But after reboot my plex players can’t detect/find my plex server on the nas anymore…
The web player also fails btw
Ok, so after reinstalling plex (it was the same version though) and restarting the NAS all is normal again.
