Why does Plex not recognize Atmos?

Why is it that titles with Atmos show up as TRUEHD7.1? Just looking directly in the library from the web app.

Atmos is additional data added on top of TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus streams. Unfortunately, Plex does not show when Atmos data is present, only displaying the underlying audio stream. The same happens with dts:X, dts’ competitor to Atmos.
