I’m trying to play Soundcloud music (MP3 formats) on my PS4 while playing whatever game at the moment. Soundcloud tends to play on the laptop app, the webpage, and the PS4 app, but not through the PS4’s Media Player that’s connected to the Plex server from my laptop. The PS4 app can’t play in the background, so I chose to do it this way. Unfortunately, everytime I click on one of the songs in the Media Player, it just grays out with a broken logo and skips to the next track doing the same thing until I stop it. None of them play at all. What’s wrong? I’ve seen someone else do it here, but I can’t seem to duplicate his results. Any help?
Actually, even my downloaded music (MP3s) straight from my laptop’s folders won’t play. Is it an MP3 issue?
I’m wondering this too, from scrubbing the forums it seems the soundcloud channel is no longer working? I grabbed it from github here: https://github.com/joshka/SoundCloud2.Bundle
Installed (by hand) into the plugins directory and … doesn’t show up. Guess it’s dead? Anyone else know status of soundcloud?
