Why I can't use my Plex when my Internet connection is gone?

Hello.
First time here. I have my NAS server connected to my LAN in my house. The problem is that when the internet connection is gone, I can’t use my PLEX server, because the login issues, even if I use the iPad, Computer or Smart TV. Is kinda annoying because without internet I am a useless person, so I want to spent some time watching something while the internet is back online, but I can’t because the login problem. If I used more than one time my plex account, can you storage like an offline login or something? I know that I can download offline my movies or content, but to do that I have to have internet.

My Roku devices cache credentials so even when internet is out it still connects. I don’t know if other clients do the same.
