Lost my internet connection for a day and couldn't access PLEX from within my local network

Hello all!

I lost my internet connection yesterday and, without a lot to do, thought I would watch some of my local content on my plex server (same LAN).

To my surprise, my plex simply wouldn’t load. I tried on different machines and even restarted the plex service, but no dice!

I managed to watch the series I wanted, but I had to manually access the shared server from a PC rather than from PLEX.

The question is: Am I a sitting duck if my internet connection drops again when it comes to PLEX? With it being hosted on my local server and being a premium account, I thought I’d be able to fully access it from my network even without internet access, but I possibly need to do something else to enable this feature.

Can anyone assist with this, so I’m not limited in the future, if my internet connection is lost again?

Thanks
