I’ve finally got DVR / HD Homerun working again, as per Unable to setup HD Homerun DVR at all and Is Anyone's Plex Live TV/DVR Function Working? .

However, the first show I go to record on my DVR, the ABC News, I can only record to my 'Movies’s library, my TV Show’s library is not available for some reason? Screenshot below. How do I get this working? @DaveBinM and @chrisallen do you have any ideas?
At first guess I would think because the EPG has flagged the news as a movie.
That’s exactly the issue. the DVR system will decide if a target recording is a movie or TV show based on the EPG information and then only allow you to save it in that type of folder.
Sometimes it gets it wrong.

What EPG are you using? If it’s the internal one, there is a form you can submit issues with
I personally use zap2xml and inside the update script I run a collection of sed commands to clean up issues in EPG.
It is an issue with the EPG categorizing the show wrong, so depending if you are in a country that Plex supports the EPG or otherwise the options will be different.
If fixing the EPG is not an option for you and it’s something you are going to watch once then delete I’d just let it record wherever it wants and watch from there. If it’s something you want to keep manually moving the file after recording might work
