Trying to add episodes for the specials section of the series and it won’t be added, intead it shows up as the numbered episodes from the series in season 1 and im so confused on how i name the files correctly cause nothing seems to work.

Well, how have you named them now?
Specials have the season number 00.
The rest is just like regular episodes.

I have it as 00 now but have tried replacing 00 with Specials but that doesn’t work.
The full file name, including the folder structure please.
This is an example of how I have mine named:
Doctor Who (1963)
-- Season 01
-- Season 02
-- Specials
---- Doctor Who (1963) - s00e01 - An Unearthly Child.mkv
---- Doctor Who (1963) - s00e02 - The Five Doctors.mkv
The ‘minimal’ naming of the OP should still work.
- make sure your library is looking exactly at
G:\Media\TV Shows
Not one folder level above, nor below. - If the files are mp4 or m4v, make sure they don’t contain embedded ‘Title’ meta tags
- perform the Plex Dance
