Why won't Zarqa (2022) match?

I’ve just added the CBC show “Zarqa (2022)”, and the default Plex Series agent always matches it as “The Blue Eye”
My original path was [My Server’s Storage]\Media\TV_Comedy\Zarqa (2022)\Season 01\Zarqa - S01E01 - Episode 1.mp4
I also tried added the TVDBID:
[My Server’s Storage]\Media\TV_Comedy\Zarqa (2022) {tmdb-427021}\Season 01\Zarqa - S01E01 - Episode 1.mp4
But still it matches wrong as “The Blue Eye”.

Can anyone see what is wrong with my naming here?

The IMDB is ZARQA (TV Series 2022– ) - IMDb
The TVDB is Zarqa - TheTVDB.com

It appears this show isn’t listed on TMDb.
Can you try the same file name but replace the tmdb- prefix with tvdb-?

Also… just to be safe… have you verified there’s no embedded metadata in your mp4 files identifying them as „The Blue Eye“?

And ensure that the Plex library is pointed directly at this folder
My Server’s Storage]\Media\TV_Comedy

and not just at
My Server’s Storage]\Media

I think the matching is broken again in the latest release - i have 4 correctly matched episodes of a tv show and two episodes that won’t match. Just says ‘No matches found’.

Um, not sure what you are asking here. Episodes don’t individually match, only entire shows. Now, it’s possible that Plex can fail to pull metadata for an episode, particularly if the episode is new enough, but that should get fixed eventually.

If no information ever shows up, double check that the “episode ordering” source you pick (default TMDB for TV Shows) actually has that episode on their site. If you are relying on TVDB for episode ordering when TMDB uses different numbers, then that may cause issues.

Thanks! I see it now…
I have never needed to add a {tvdb} id to get matching to work before, and I copy/pasted the wrong one (TMDB rather than TVDB).
With the TVDB ID in the folder name it matched right away.
