I was trying to add my server to my parents system (in another state) to my Plex server. When I would use their computer to log into my Plex.tv account, it said my server was unavailable. I have the port forwarded through my firewall at home to my server, because I can see the server just fine when I log into Plex.tv when I’m at work.
What would be causing this problem???
In Settings - Server - General - SHOW ADVANCED, does the server show up logged into the correct Plex.tv account?
Yes, it shows my email address that I use to log into Plex.tv. I would have to check on my parents PC to make sure but when I was there, I logged in as me as well.
When is the last it was restarted?
If you would do the following please?
- Verify DEBUG logging (Settings - Server - General - Show advanced)
- restart PMS
- See what it reports
- That not achieving connection, Make a tar.gz of the Logs directory and attach it here please.
