Ok so I have just installed the latest APK, to try and solve the no voice problem with my Amazon Firestick… to no avail!..Whats going on to resolve this issue?

I am not aware of any specific issues regarding no voices on the Amazon Fire Stick. Without more information, the only thing I can think is that you are playing some sort of audio that the Fire Stick does not support so you get no sound. If you have sound, but the voices are really low, that is usually a symptom of playing 5.1 audio on stereo speakers. You can turn off the support for multi-channel sound in the app settings. Hopefully that will fix it.
Otherwise I will need more information, such as media info and logs.
Hi, and thanks for the reply. I have altered the settings with the Fire stick AND plex but to no avail. I have never had such problems before, but I will re download the file in question and see if in fact that is what it is… HOWEVER so far, this is not limited to one file…
Check the media info for the file. I’ve seen issues where some Fire devices won’t play sound if the audio is 5.1 AAC. I thought the app had a work around for these situations, but I’m not sure so I’ll check.
Thanx MovieFan, I have indeed done as you say, the sound that I do get is somewhat ‘tinny’ as if the music overlay is too loud. I have decided to ensure I download different files in the future.
