Each library has its own folder location. A single, and different, folder for each library.
Thats how mine is set up
No duplicates are showing and get info just shows the one entry based upon the library i check it from, if i manually edit metadata it only afftects the one i changed, the same episode in the other library is not altered
I have just setup a test recording (incase something has changed in new recording entries) of an episode i already have in another library to see what happens
Even worse news.
I moved all of the Wild Kratts and Word Girl episodes out of the original TV Shows folder to a different drive.
Now the episodes record as expected, show up in the correct library, but without any information except sort title. The EPG data, episode name and description, is not retained.
Update: After the first couple of episodes recorded with no information retained from the EPG, subsequent episodes are recording just fine. Episode title and description are being retained from the EPG. It did take removing all the previous recordings, emptying the trash, and cleaning the bundles for this to happen.
I wonder if performing the ‘Unmatch’ procedure on each show would have yielded the same result.
I tried that, it didn’t work.
