Another +1 for HEIC and HEVC support. I love plex, but I’d love to use it for my photo collection too. Switched to HEIC formats on my iPhone a while back, and Plex doesn’t support them. Soon please!

+1 for HEIF/HEVC/ .HEIC support… when I test it it seems like the server is pulling these in as .mov files, but will not display them… I’d love to see them come in natively…

I don’t want all my images and videos automatically converted to a format that takes up more space on my NAS! Let’s get HEIC/HEVC support for for photos/videos so I can start using plex again for backing up and managing my phone’s photo collection!

Not sure if it has an impact, nor even if the plex team is monitoring this thread … but I give one more +1 for HEI* format support!
Adding a +1 here does not help. Please add your vote to the feature request, HEIC/HEIF support in photo libraries (new photo format for iPhones).

I totally agree, Don’t know if there are a kind of codec restriction by Apple corp or not, but if you can update us if you want OR NOT support HEIC extansion, it could be nice !

Please add heic support. I bought a lifetime membership three years ago and put 20 years of photos on my Plex server… and most of my new photos from the last two years don’t show up. Please make this a priority!
