HDHomerun Flex–>Plex–>SHIELD–>LG
All I want is the option to transcode only my Live TV Stream (not globally) because the Plex direct stream is garbage compared to HDHomeRun’s native player. If i set the max quality, it effects my video library which has a lot of 4k content. I want to stay in the Plex environment because my wife is familiar with it and you know how that goes.
Is there a button I’m missing that would allow me to just transcode the DirectStream MPEG2 and not anything else on the Shield client? I know this is not a host issue. I guess its not really a big deal to just hit convert automatically every time, but then it shouldnt be a big deal to fix something like that either, right?
