Will not accept post code

Seems like a fairly serious bug and google seems to show many results going back a long way so any idea why this has not been fixed?

Upgraded to plex pass to test live TV but I cannot get past the post code input screen (continue grayed out). I have tried multiple post codes from multiple areas but it just does not work…

If you are in the UK only enter the first part of code. Like if yours is AB1 2CD , only enter AB1

I have tried that and still nothing.

I have tried:

  • capitals / lower case
  • just the start / full postcode
  • many random postcodes from different regions of the UK
  • different browsers
  • different computers

if you don’t mind telling me which postal code are you trying to enter and/or can you take a screenshot of the page with it entered but the button still greyed out.

One of our UK employees tried BS40 and it works for him. Can you double check there are not any blank spaces after it. Also though I know probably a silly question but on the previous screen UK was selected correct?

Nope, no spaces and yes I selected United Kingdom on the page before. I will try rebooting and installing a media server on another box with a different IP and see if that changes anything.

I also have this issue. I’m in the US and have tried various different zip codes.

I tried a ubuntu machine and that could not even see the VBOX dispite being on the same network.

I then tried removing and reinstalling plex and that seems to have fixed it. Not sure why though.
