Server Version#: using mycloud 1.18.6.2350
Player Version#: Version 4.26.1
Suddenly after i updated 2 days agi, i can not match new movies i am putting into my server, not even when i try to do it manually, have tried to update all metadata??
Im naming like this “Amadeus (1984) - (tt0086879)”
could you expand on the naming folder structure your using…
example…
movies
Amadeus (1984)
Amadeus (1984) - (tt0086879).mkv
Amadeus (1984) - (tt0086879).jpg
Next Movie (1999)
Next Movie (1999).mp4
Next Movie (1999).eng.srt
make absolutely shure, that your server has accurate date and time (no joke). If necessary, enable the ntp daemon. (might be named differently in your NAS - try ‘time sync’ or ‘set time automatically’ or similarly named menu items)
Judging by the amount of CAPITALIZED movie titles in your screenshot, I’d say your agent configuration gives too much importance to embedded meta data.
Do this:
Go to
Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheTVDB
In there, grab the line ‘Local Media Assets’ with your mouse and drag it downwards, so it ends up being at the bottom of the stack of active agents.
Repeat the same under
Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheMovieDatabase
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - Plex Movie
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - TheMovieDatabase
Afterwards, perform the Plex Dance with one of the problematic movies.
See what comes out of this.
OK, I found the problem… It was a problem with my internal DNS server… I found this my verifying if my ntp config was OK. Thanks for help @OttoKerner !
