My Windows 10 server has decided to stop loading today. There is no message other than “Error”. I have rebooted my machine, tried to download and install a clean version of Plex Media Server software and nothing is working. I get the same “Error” every time I have tried to install and boot it back up. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi. Out of interest, have you got any remote software running? Such VNC/Teamviewer? If so, stop them completely and try loading the PMS up again.

I had Teamviewer running and killing that seems to have fixed it.
Brilliant. My server crashed none stop when teamviewer was running. Soon as I killed it, runs absolutely fine now.
Really odd bug but least it’s easily fixed. Fixed being the operative word ha.

I just want to thank everyone for this information, my server crashed this morning and this article saved me, I was about to do a new plex server install.
I also want to mention that I removed teamviewer and I am now using CloudBerry Remote Assistant, it seems to work fine along with the plex server, its free to use, just an option if you still need to remote access your server.
