Windows 7 and PlexConnect not working

It looks like your permissions are messed up on the folder, you should be able to run it form that folder if you change the permissions for the whole folder.

You are right, I guess I skipped over that part in the installation guide since I was eager to get it running.  I uninstalled 3.3.2 and installed 2.7.5.  It didn't work from my c:, I received the following error:

But if I run it from a mount drive (Z:), then it works perfect.  This is fine with me, just thought I would mention it for the others.  Thanks for the help.

It's probably because you had it in program files. It's restricted to only be writable by admins starting from Windows Vista and even if you are an admin, you normally do not run programs with admin rights, so it couldn't create the log file.

Hi there, i'm getting some problems while i'm running on Windows 7. I read about this kinda of error, and it seems a permission problem. I run "cmd.exe" as admin and there's no way to avoid the error. Here's the log.

And most are caused by either missing exception on the firewall, or an AntiVira Solution intercepting http in order to "protect"

Added: One from the danish fora just had the samme error, and it was caused by either Skype or Dropbox that stole port 80
