currently to fix the issue i reverted back to the previous build of Plex 1.31.3.6868, and DVR recording is working again.
All of my recordings before I reverted to the old version gave the error message of…
“No write access to destination.”
after verifing that my NAS still was connected and that read/write permissions were configured and free space was available I resorting to falling back to the Plex update of 1.32.0.6918 being the cause and now i’m working again, however just on the previous build.
There seems to be an issue with some NAS devices being recognized by the new build, even when they worked previously. While not about DVR recording seen this thread:
i understand your statement about SMB, however I can tell you that DVR recordings failed, and i still had full permissions to the NAS. Meaning i could read and write to the NAS from the PLEX windows system, but Plex could not record with its DVR.
