Hi All, been running plex for years but always having remote access issues. currently running plex on a windows based pc and i have tried port forwarding via my netgear orbi but constantly having issues with it connecting to the public IP address. i am no mean a IT guy but i can’t work out why one night it works and the next it doesn’t when nothing changes.
Not sure what information people need to help but any advice would be appreciated
Sounds like your router might change the local IP assigned to the server host (dynamic assignment vs. ip reservation).
